This lingerie chest is from France and dates to the early 1900's. It is made from solid oak and finished to a warm medium color. The fit and finish on this chest is high quality. The drawers are solid oak and very well made with dovetailed joints. The entire chest is in very good condition with small scratches here and there and a light crack in the top (see photos). The stand is sturdy and heavy. As far as I can tell, the wood and metal are genuine and high quality. I had no issues with the base (or included controller stand) being unstable or wobbly. Both were rock solid. You can slide the controller stand left or right, but there's no height adjustment for the headphone stand. However most headphones should still fit just fine. Setup was very easy. There's a few screws to connect the parts but that's it, and there's really no way to put anything in the wrong spot. The controller stand doesn't physically attach to anything, but it does have little rubber feet to keep it from sliding around easily. Overall a very well-designed and aesthetically pleasing addition to my desk!
